(If we decide to have a new structure, we can figure that out later)

New Structure ? / Leave As Is?

  1. To answer Wayne’s question, by dealing to the missing players every hand it takes more cards out of the deck. Therefore draws become statistically less likely. However I do agree that there is no advantage or disadvantage to any one person either way but it would make a difference to guys who like to shove when they flop 4 suited cards, open ended draws, boat draws. Personally I am fine either way but that is the difference. cheers

  2. what about dealing to guys/spots who are not there? Yes the dealer will have to use an extra 1% of his brain but I think we can manage and it might worth a trial?

    1. I agree with Wayne. If we never deal people who are not in and no money in the pot the card odds are the same for everyone. Personally I think the games works for the most part. If we need to change the time by 30 min or take a break I’m okay with that. I don’t think we should complicate it. It’s about strategy and play against your opponents. If we want to make it more fun then maybe add some more pot luck dinners and social events. It has been over a decade that some of us have been playing together so it’s more than just a game it’s also a social club.
