Cup win = $

IDEA:  Optional, we start a separate purse/bounty for a cup win?

$5 or $10 from each player who want to compete for it, if you win the cup, you get the money too.

This would be separate from the rebuy $5 that go into the maintenance fund.

You have to pay before you accumulate any points. (so your first game of this new run)

And of course the cup is eligible to be won by players who don’t participate but they would not be entitled to the prize money, which would be held over until next cup run

Voting Issues – First Game after Super Bowl Game

Hey Guys,

As we discussed at this past game there are a few game issues that we need to vote on prior to the game on February 13th.  Below are the items to be voted on, everyone that has access to this site has a vote if you choose not to vote then your vote has been voided and from the votes collected majority rules.  If you don’t vote then you CAN NOT complain after the fact!

Voting Issues:

  1. Move that each player receives all 10,000 of their chips at the start of the game, there will no longer be a hold back of chips to receive halfway through the game.
  2. Move that rebuys remain 7,500 in chips and limited to 1 per player per game.  Rebuys are not transferrable to another player who has gone busted.
  3. Move that the cut off for rebuys is at the end of the 300-600 blind structure.
  4. Move that the cut off be 12 players as that will still comfortably accommodate the table.  If it happens that there are 16 or more signed up for a game that will be up to the house (Evan) to decide if we start the game with 2 tables.
  5. Move that each player is responsible for their actions and to follow the flow of the game, meaning if a player says call then they are calling whatever the current bet at the table is (even if they were not paying attention and someone had raised the pot).  As a courtesy (not a rule) players should announce their raise for all to hear.
  6. Bad Beat – Option A – If AA’s get beaten then the holder of the AA’s receives $5 from the cup (the hand has to be played throughout and lose in a show down, a folded hand does not qualify).  Option B – Removed lack of interest

That’s all folks.

So not sure how Rich will move this to the Vote or leave here but here are my votes and if everyone follows along then we can announce the changes.  If you don’t like a suggestion than simply vote no but at this point lets not introduce new voting issues as it will only make the whole process more confusing.  If everyone feels strongly on something we can introduce a new vote once we get through these voting issues.  Remember this is a fun/social game and we are just tweeting it to make it fair/fun for all without having to play until 1 in the morning.
