IDEA: Optional, we start a separate purse/bounty for a cup win?
$5 or $10 from each player who want to compete for it, if you win the cup, you get the money too.
This would be separate from the rebuy $5 that go into the maintenance fund.
You have to pay before you accumulate any points. (so your first game of this new run)
And of course the cup is eligible to be won by players who don’t participate but they would not be entitled to the prize money, which would be held over until next cup run

1 – 7500 rebuy until end of 3-6
Full Points regardless of re buy
Bad beat pay out? (not yet concluded)
I thought we’ve always had the policy that any other side betting could be done outside of the regular rules. So betting on first to 18 and in the side bet is the same as if you’re out before me betting.

I vote yes. Only if …a person who is ineligible wins the cup. The person who has the highest points who is in the pot, wins the $$.
I like the idea but what about the winner of the side pot is the person with money in the pot that has the most points when the cup is won if they are not the actual winner of the cup.
I like Wayne’s suggestion… reset the side pot with the cup runs. Keeps it more interesting.
